#COMMONS is an art project of nomadic research that investigates public space as a space of change, resistance and collective imagination. The core issue of the project is “the common”, intended as the space of transformations and negotiations acted by a community to operate a change and a proactive development of what belongs to itself and, at the same time, inhabits -the territory. Through participated art residencies in different places of the Mediterranean area, #COMMONS aims at making visible the voices, stories, desires and conflicts of the spaces and people living there.
